A Rose From You – Digital Collage

I can’t draw! At all, so badly so, that I also can barely write anything understandable… maybe that is why I tend to sit down with my computer or paper and scissors when I feel creative…lol!

Today I’m sharing a digital collage, not sure if you can use it for anything, but it’s an example of what I make when other people would be doodling:

Wings of Whimsy: A Rose From You Digital Collage #vintage #ephemera #printable #freebie

I have an interview for a new job tomorrow morning!!! I’ll probably be up all night, unable to sleep from being nervous… Please think about me and send me some “good luck vibes”, I feel like I really need it :-O

In case you can use my digital collage for something (maybe a background in your own work?) I’ve put it in the download folder for you. The file is free for your personal use and enjoyment.

    1. Thank you very, very much! My night was not all too bad, I actually managed to get a pretty decent night… I think your wishes really helped to keep me grounded and not get too nervous 🙂 xoxoxo

  1. Woo hoo! Best of luck with your interview – I’m sending good wishes your way and thanks so much for your lovely rose collage. Margie x

    1. Thank you Dear. I’m done with the interview and it meant a lot for me to know someone was rooting for me 🙂 Will have to wait for them to decide, maybe another week or so…:-P xoxoxo

  2. Count on it…. Good luck. I just landed my dream job after 14 months of being unemployed. Fingers crossed. Huuugs Lene

    1. Congrats Lene 🙂 I’m so happy for you 🙂 I had an interview with 4 people this morning, I felt like they did all the talking, and the little I said was stuttering and elusive… before I could elaborate, one of them had started a new topic…:-P I also overheard the last couple of minutes with the guy they interviewed before me, and he seemed very confident and highly qualified. Regardless, I am very, very grateful for your support, it really helped me to be less nervous! xoxoxo

Lots of love and biiiig warm cyberhugs from here.

    1. Ahhh, thank you so much Sweetie! I do belive in myself, I sincerely belive I could do a great job in that position, I just don’t feel super confident in how to convey it in 30 minutes…:-P And especially when they are all talking so much, it’s like there was no room for me to present myself. Big hugs back at ya, Hunny!! xoxoxo

    1. Thank you Hunny! I did (tell them I am the right person for the job) and I certainly smiled for 30 minutes…lol Fingers crossed they will choose me over the other candidates (14 people applied for the postition). xoxoxo

  4. From the beautiful images that you have so very kindly shared with us I am sure that you will sail through your interview – good luck any way. Do let me know how you have got on.

    1. Thank you very much for believing in me! The interview was for a daytime job, where I’ll probably not be using my creative skills much. I sometimes wonder if I should just leave my profession alltogether and plunge into something more creative, but being a (poor) single mom, I can’t afford the risk, I need a career with a properly payed job :-O Will keep you posted about the result. If I did not land this job, I will have to keep applying, since my current job is only until the end of August. I really hope I’ll be getting the job, or you will all be very, very tired of me writing about hunting for a new job…lol xoxoxo

  5. Hello Gunnvor, I wish you all the best for tomorrow !! I”cross my fingers” for you and hope tomorrow will be a very good day !!!

    Warm greetings from Anita,,,,Holland.

    1. Thank you very much, dear Anita! I’m feeling strangely relieved, and I hope it’s not all lost…lol I do believe they have a couple of very good candidates (next to me) so I’ll just have to wait and see what qualities they prefer. xoxoxo

  6. Thanks so much for all the wonderful images you share and best of luck with the interview!

    1. Thank you Hunny! I’m very happy to have the interview behind me, at least I’ll be sleeping well tonight. And the decission is out of my hands now 😛 xoxoxo

  7. I hope that your interview went well. Good luck. Only well wishes here!! I’m a few days behind in my blog reading.
I have to tell you, I just LOVE this new collage. I will use it as a journal card front for one of my mini albums. It will go so well!! Thank you

    1. Awww, I’m so happy to hear you liked the collage 😀 I wasn’t sure if this was anything worth sharing (if it could be useful to anyone) so this makes me very glad 🙂

And thank you also for the well wishes, I have “saved” them in my bank, and it really has made my day happy and uplifted! xoxoxo

      1. I love taking the freebies that you and designers like yourself offer us and that’s mainly what I use it for. I make basic little mini albums and use the freebies as fronts on my journalling cards. They are perfect for it. I give them a coat of matte medium and they are beautiful and you just want to feel the texture of them after they’ve been treated with the matte medium. They also make the collages and images look and feel so wonderful. So an extra thank you for your freebies. 🙂

    1. Your comment snuck under my radar somehow… so sorry for the late reply! I’m very happy to hear you enjoyed this, and hope you will find good use for it 😀 xoxoxo

  8. I love the rose image on the music, but was hoping the baby wasn’t included……oh well. L0) Sending you many wishes for a calm and productive interview. Appreciate all the work you do on the blog, thank you.

    1. Hello Dear Bev! I will of course upload a copy to the download-folder without my Grandma…lol! If you ever have requests like this again, please don’t hesitate to post about it, I’m very happy when I can customize for someone 😀 xoxoxo

      1. Awwww, thank you so much, it’s just so gorgeous. OOOPs, my best to your grandma. LOL Some of your images I make into 2×2’s and make the most beautiful note cards you ever saw. :0)

      2. My Grandma was born in 1909, the baby picture of her was taken in 1910, when she was around 1 yr old. She died many years ago, but I remember her like it was yesterday 🙂

I’d love to see your notecards! If you ever get a chance, please share some pictures of them 🙂 xoxoxo

  9. This is so pretty too! And i’m sorry I was too late to send good vibes for your trial on a new job! I hope it all went well!!

    1. Thanks for thinking about me Hunny! I have my final (oral) examination tomorrow afternoon. The comission have now considered my thesis, tomorrow I will have 30mins of presentation and questioning with them, after which they will decide upon the final grade…:-O So I still need vibes…lol!

  10. I am so sorry to hear that, it’s so upsetting to have people take what is not theirs. I’ll keep you in prayer.
