A Gift Of Love – Free Printable Victorian Fan

Spring and summer have arrived in Wester-Norway; both at once! Last week we had rain and almost below freezing temperatures at night, this weekend we are enjoying 25´celsius and green spring is upon us by the minute! So lounging on my sisters porch, marveling at all the splendor of nature surrounding us, one starts to sweat. Thus, I figured we need fans! Onto searching the web for printables, I found one over at The Scrappers Boutique 🙂

I have cleaned up the file and enhanced the images, and printed them om glossy (cheap) photo paper, glued the prints onto thin cardboard and assembled according to the instructions provided.

    1. It’s my pleasure 🙂 I have also shared a couple of other fans, if that is you fancy, shortly after this one 🙂 Enjoy, and I’d love to see a picture if you decide to make one.

  1. The fan download is absolutely out of this world. Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing this with us.

  2. I love your vintage fan. Do you have a mailing list I could sign up for. I am a 100% NSC Vet and since I can’t do the things that I used to do I have taken to making paper crafts. I can make them and they don’t look childish when they are great patterns like your are.

I wanted to thank you for the link to the “Old Design Shop”. She has a lot of great free items on her site. Thank you so much.

  3. Thank you Jackie 🙂 Yes, Julie’s site is wonderful! I am downloading stuff there often. I have made a list of all my fave sites, if you check out the link in the bottom of the WoW window, it says “Free Vintage” 😀 xoxoxo

  4. I love this fan! I’m going to make one for each of my four granddaughters for Valentines Day. May have to check out your other designs. Thank you so much!!

  5. Hi, I needed a card for my mom for Mother’s Day and thought how perfect this card would be! Thanks for allowing me to download it! It’s so lovely!

  6. I work with low income kids on a tight budget, this will make a wonderful craft project for them!!! Thank you!!!

    1. Thank you Sandy! I have many projects here suitable for tight budges, so poke around and see what you might be able to use 🙂 Maybe some of my “old book crafts” could be an option? xoxoxo

  7. Thank you so much! I wanted something really special to mail to my 94 year old Grandmother in a FL nursing home for Valentine’s Day, and wasn’t finding anything worthy of her – until I found your Victorian fan! I printed the images on white cardstock and used scallop scissors to cut around the top hearts, then laminated the pieces and used a cream tassel looped through the bottom hole. THIS elegant vintage fan was just what I needed for the Best Grandma in the World! (I would love one myself!) I really appreciate the time you took to work on and share this project and bless others!

  8. Lovely! Can’t wait to gift it!
I’m from Canada, and neighbours with some Westers who immigrated from Norway…small world!
