When a dear reader requested the Stars N Stripes Candy Color papers, I sat down to compile them all (27 free printable papers, including the original 1890 Vintage Style Papers!!) and in the process some ideas came to mind what one could do with these, other than use them as card backgrounds and for wrapping or journaling. So I and the girls have had a festive day crafting with them, me on the puter and the girls with scissors and twine:
Of course you all get to share in our wild crafting spree! Click below to download high quality pdf with the pyramid boxes, suitable for party favors, and super easy to make, my girls (age 9 and 10) are making these in about 5 minutes:
And PARTY bunting, ready to mix and match in whatever style you prefer, with your own wording or embellishment, or print the first 5 flags for an instant party garland 🙂 If you want a longer garland without much extra work, just print the first 5 flags with letters and 4 or 6 plain flags to add in between the letters:
Or use the plain flag or the flag with the frame but no letters to add your own wording or designs (all 7 flags are included in the pdf-file):
This garland should be well suited for a 4th of July Vintage Style Party 🙂
Next up is bunting with the candy colors, suited for any kind of summer party:
And customizable to your hearts content! Here too, you can print the ready made garland above, and add extra plain flags from the file below. Or you can use the file below to mix and match and embellish your very own funky garland 😀 If you like the font but want other letters, the alphabet I have used for these can be found HERE.
I have used the following elements for these designs:
Oval Ornate Vintage Frame – Doodlecraft
Stars N Stripes Seamless Tiles – Wings of Whimsy
Vintage Alphabet PNGs – Wings of Whimsy
Pyramid Gift Box – Wings of Whimsy
Bunting Flags – Wings of Whimsy
These files are free for your personal use and enjoyment 🙂 I hope you will use them for one wild and crazy party this summer 🙂
Thank you tremendously! These are fabulous! 🙂
You are very welcome 😀 Thanks for stopping by 🙂
I hope all the links are working now for downloads, I tested and found a couple that were copy-pasted incorrectly…:-P
Lovely boxes in particular. Thank you for sharing with everyone.
Thank you. And thanks for visiting 🙂
What fun! Thank you.
Thanks for visiting us here 🙂
My cousin’s son is joining the Navy……….his picture in the stars and stripes will be cute as a hanging banner. Something for his mama to save. LOL It’s perfect, thank you.
Aww, that sounds fabulous 🙂 If you have several pictures of him, you could even do different pictures for the banner, and make every second a blank flag? I’d love to see pictures if you whip one up 🙂 xoxoxo
PS: I can send you the png file of the flag with the oval background of the frame removed, if you want to make these digitally and then print?
Fabulous!!!!
Thank you, I’m really pleased you like it 🙂 Have fun!! 😀
