I’m celebrating today, with my post No 100 😀
Therefore I’m very happy to be able to combine two of my favorite themes for you, cherubs and pretty ladies, into one gorgeous post of beautiful Edwardian Christy Girls!! With cherub photomats and all, these lovely ladies are ready to print and frame 😀
Howard Chandler Christy published numerous of his illustrations of ladies in the beginning of the 20ieth century. However, his main recognition and popularity as an artist was gained later, during World War 1, when he made his reputation as a combat artist.
Print them all, or mix and match your favorites from the download file. If you print several to a page, the’ll make pretty cards too. I also included the empty frames, the oval frames are PNGs, so ready for you to stick your own image right in 😀
The files are free for your personal use and enjoyment.
I have used the following elements for these designs:
The frames and the first 4 girls – Catnip Studio Collage
More Christy Girls – The Christy Girl on Hathi Trust Digital Library
More Christy Girls – The American Girl on Open Library
Even more Christy Girls – Songs of Sentiment on Hathi Trust Digital Library
Love the vintage ladys. Thank u 4 sharing.
You are very welcome, I’m thrilled to hear someone like them 😀
I have printed a few of mine in A5 size, and put in very simple white frames, and I love the result! I’m considering bringing a couple to spruce up my office space as well 😀
These are lovely, thank you : )
You are very welcome, hope you can find good use for them 😀
Gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing. 🙂
