I have a poll for you today!
I have noticed that the response and interest of my posts vary quite a bit. Here is first a brief recap on what types of posts you might expect to find on Wings of Whimsy:
- High quality ephemera – with free downloads
- DIY projects – with instructions and free downloads
- Links to other sites with similar content
- Presentation of Victorian and Edwardian artists (occasionally)
In addition to the above topics, I also now how to use various online apps that may come in handy for all the digital image-collectors out there, and I know how to use digital software such as Photoshop and Indesign. I am considering creating a few tutorials sharing some of the tips and tricks that could be helpful for other digital artists, and here is my question for you:
Please let me know what you prefer by voting in the poll. Comments below are also appreciated 🙂
Take a look at one of my Eadweard Muybridge animations, while you consider your answer 🙂
Click HERE to see the original post with this animation, there are a few more animated GIF-files around the same time 😀
I must admit, that as I don´t have a chinamans clu about how to use any of these things, and just have more than enough on my mind all the time, I probably wouldn´t even read it anymore, as I have completely given up on learning these things now, as I simply can´t remember it all from time to time, I use it anyway, so I´ll just leave it to everybody else to decide, what they want, and then I´ll just continue to enjoy the gorgeous images, that you´re already sharing with us, as they´re perfectly fine for me to use, and I love them, so no matter what you decide to do in the future, I probably wouldn´t do anything different from now anyway. But thanks soooo very much for asking and wanting to do the best for us, I really apreciate that very much, but please don´t do it for my sake.
Have a wonderful Easter now with your beautiful daughters there.
Your comment is so funny Maryann 🙂
And I know for a fact that you are not t-h-a-t helpless with the comp either…lol!
But I know that some of my printables have been extra popular just because you can print them and go straight to crafting. That is why I have landed on the current system, of sharing the ready made collage sheets with everyone, and the digital elements also with my followers.
I’m by no means a computer expert, but I do have a few easy tricks up my sleeve…lol! And easy is what we want, yes?
Thanks for taking the time to write me, it’s very much appreciated 🙂

I’m like Maryann- absolutely clueless when it comes to digital software which I don’t even have installed but I’d still like to see what you do with it (occasionally!) so I can perhaps see what I’m missing and decide whether its something I really need to learn. Other than that, I’m just so happy with your beautiful images which I can work out what to do with….. Thanks so much for what you do. Margie PS Happy Easter too.
Hello Sweetie 🙂
Don’t worry, I’ll keep posting graphics and ready made printables too, I’m just considering if I should “expand” a little…lol
I’m going to sneak a couple of tips in regardless of what my readers request, but I might not spend time on creating complete tutorials 😉
Happy Easter to you too!

Gunnvor Karita 🙂
I thnk I would love to get some of your tips and tricks. I am a learner in this kind of art and think any help that I can go bavk and read (when I forget in two hours what it is you said to do lol) would be just fantastic. I have hust loved your site since I discovered it earlier this year and have used quite a few of your things in my crafting life.
Thank you for being so generous and clever to find all the beautiful things that you do
❤

I greatly enjoy your posts of all kinds. I only use what is of personal interest, but enjoy seeing everything you post. Sometimes there is a surprise among them that sparks a new project – love that. Please keep doing exactly what you are doing. It is all wonderful.
