Vintage Alphabet Damask Inchies & Brads

Here is a little something I’ve been working on for digital scrapbooking or bottle caps:

Wings of Whimsy: Alphabet Damask Brads #vintage #ephemera #freebie #printable #alphabet #inchie Wings of Whimsy: Alphabet Damask Inchies #vintage #ephemera #freebie #printable #alphabet #inchie

If you have a one inch punch, these inchies are punched out in no time at all. If not, you might have to get your scissors and cut while sun bathing or in some other pleasant situation 🙂

Use the brads for digital scrapbooking, or use the plain ones with bottle caps:

Bottle caps magnets, bottle caps thumbtacks or even bottle caps jewelry. I posted some easy instructions on how to make bottle caps rings HERE.

Do you love my alphabet inchies but wish the color combinations were different? Please post your needs below, and I’ll see about making other color combinations for you 😉

This file is free for your personal use and enjoyment. Go to the download folder below to grab your high quality copy:

  1. Hi Gunnvor, These are soooo beautiful and can be used for lots of projects.About the colors, then it can be hard, cause it always depends on, for who the project is made and what papers, you´re using for the project, but these are pretty awesome and works great with lots of things. They´re jsut beautiful.
How are you doing now? Have you been able to find yourself again after all your hard work here all spring? I do hope so, and also found time to play a bit more for YOU and the girls as well. Got into making the new craftroom yet? I hope so, and look forward to see and hear a lot more about it.
Have a wonderful week-end ahead here now and loads of great fun too.

    1. Thank you Dear 🙂 No work done on the studio yet…:-O I’m just too tired, all I want to do is sleep…lol But I thank you gazillions for the great tip of making a list, I already started one, and will keep adding to it, to extract my top 10 activitites 🙂 I was unconsiously thinking along those lines, thinking I need a corner for my computer, somewhere for my sewing machine, and so forth, but I was not being really organized about it, and making choices, and I’m sure your advice will make it sooo much better 😀 I don’t have cutting machines and such, but they are high up on my wishlist, so definitely need to think there will be space for them… the list will be looong, but I’ll now know to pinpoint my most used operations, and plan so they can be easily done. My room is big, but a lot smaller than your wonderful barn, so there will still be a challenge in making everything fit…:-O I’ll write you all the details and include my Top 10 list when I’m ready. I’m hoping maybe to get around it next weekend, when the girls go to their dad again…;-) This weekend we plan to spend outdoors, and helping my sister a little on the farm, so no cleaning or planning or crafting for the next few days…:-P xoxoxo

  2. Just found your blog Gunnvor, it is wonderful! If it is possible, would you be able to do the alphabet in shades of brown? I love them in red too so if it is too much work to change them I will definitely use what you have already so generously provided. Off to explore your wonderful site and thank you for sharing your amazing images with us all! Deb

    1. Dear Deb 🙂

I’m sorry about the belated answer, I have been more or less “off the grid” all summer…lol!

YES, of course I can do the alphabet in shades of brown! I’ll look at it this evening, and post here, when there is a new version for you 🙂 xoxoxo

      1. Thank you Gunnvor, that is so lovely of you to do that! And thank your for the access to your Google Drive files, found all kinds of wonderful treasures there :O) Hope you are having a wonderful summer, it’s so great to get away from technology and get back to Mother Nature. Thank you again, much appreciated!

      2. And what do you know, I had unexpected visitors last night, so I ran out of time to work on these…:-P I will try again tonight, I’ll let you know when they are ready for you 🙂

      3. You are so lovely, thank you! Some of the letters are a little difficult to see (I printed out a ‘test’ page) but don’t worry about it, I appreciate you giving it a try for me. Thanks so much, Deb xoxo

      4. I agree, it varies how “light” the letters are to begin with, and this version was not doing a good job on the lightest of them…:-O

So I did second brown version, I actually did a third one too, that is really dark…:-P Please let me know if any of them works for you! (I deleted the first brown version, don’t want that one in circulation…lol)

Do you want the inchies or brads or both? xoxoxo
