Another way to use my Digital Christmas Collages for wrapping, is to make Vintage Christmas Crackers:
Did I tell you I’m gifting only cash this year (as usual!)? Well, I like to wrap my cash with a little candy, and I like to vary how I present the gifts, so everyone will not get the same package… Thus this is another way to disguise the cash…lol
Instructions:
- Print my Vintage Digital Collage Sheets in A3 size (twice the size of regular A4)
- Wrap the candy or small gift in cellofane and tape it shut
- Tuck the gift into a paper tube
- Cut the collage sheet in approximately 4 equal pieces
- Roll the paper tube in tissue paper
- Roll the graphics over the tube and tape it shut (use double sided tape or glue for a neat finish)
- Tuck the sides of the graphics towards the middle of the paper tube on each end
- Tie a piece of string, twine or pretty ribbon on each side of the paper tube to close the cracker.
The width of my tissue paper varies, you can make yours equal if you want. You can also make these with longer paper tubes for bigger gifts (just cut wider strips of the collage sheet)
