The Christmas ornament set I’m sharing with you today is made with cookie cutters, by Iris in New York State, USA for Deb in Florida, USA:
Iris sent me the first image of the ornaments, and Deb supplied the close up images 🙂
Althought these ornaments are “related” and matching each other very well, they are still very different 😀 I simply love it! If you did not already notice, you should take a closer look on the backside of Iris’ first ornament in this post, the gorgeous vintage lady! I love the image she used, the shape of the cookie cutter and not the least the white feather-y thread/fabric(?) she used on the back!
Did you miss out on the planning of this swap? This is what my swappers signed up for back in September:
- Each swap is for a set of 3 ornaments. Either 1 tart tin swap or 1 cookie cutter swap, swapped with one swap buddy
- Deadline November 15th to craft your ornaments, take pictures and get the packages ready
- Send pictures to me of the finished ornaments
- Alert me when the swapped ornaments arrive at their new home

WAUW I sure can´t keep up with you these days here LOL. 3 postings here again and all sooo beautiful creations, and I can see, we already used a couple of the wrappingideas here with the girls. They were asked to come home yesterday, as their other grandmother also had made plans for them this week-end, but TAscha had been here since thursday as she´s been sick with the flu here all last week, so she was pretty satisfied, that she got a day all by her self ha ha ha, and she actually used several og your sheets for wrapping all her little gifts here, and I couldn´t help smile a bit, when I saw these today, as she actually used 2 of your ideas already the other day, so I´m sure, she´ll be very proud, when I tell her that ha ha ha.
I haven´t been all on top here the last week either, and have been running to see my doctor too, as my blood preasure unfortunately decided to play up really big time, and it raised to the skyes, so I now have to check twice a day and write down, and have to go back tomorrow, and have my meds regulated, and they can´t explain why it suddenly raise to the skyes like this, but it gives a lot of problems unfortunately, so hopefully they can get it under control, as it can be pretty bad, they say, so muzst admit my energy hasn´t been very good here lately either, but I have got the worst cleaned out here this week-end after all the kids been playing biig time, and thanks god, they´re soo big now, so they don´t need quite as much taken care of anymore, so we managed through these days.
Unfortunately I totally forgot to take pictures of all their beautiful work, but I´ll bring the camera on christmas eve and hope, I can have pictures of it all then to show you how much they used of all your great stuff.
I´m totally in awe about the gorgeous tins and cutters here again too, they´re sooooooooooooo beautiful, and I really hope, that I´ll find some of these here later, so I can be in on this next year, as they are soooooooo amazing and such a wonderful idea.
Have a wonderful day everyone and lots of fun here the last few days before the big day, and don´t weorjk too hard ladies, it´s supposed to be fuin okay? And Gunnvor, you please take care of yourself and don´t take more in than your health can deal with okay? Take good care of YOU, and if you don´t have time, then never mind, we all have been more than spoiled this December, that´s for sure, and I know, that everybody else here will agree with me, right ladies??
Merry Christmas everyone, it´s been a huge pleasure to follow all these gorgeous tins and cutters, you´ve all made here this December.
3 postings??? Now I can’t keep up with me…lol!! You really must take pictures for me on Christmas Eve, I sooo want to see how the girls used the collage sheets for wrapping gifts 😀 And please tell them I am so proud they figured out my intention with the sheets all by themselves 😉 Clever girls!! 😀 They are certainly taking after their grandmother…lol!
I cleaned the house this weekend, and now consider myself “ready” for Christmas. Still need to put tags on most presents, and pack them into the car, pack our bags for 3 days, and do some grocery shopping, but not today, I am totally beat after a full day at work and one little trip to the stored for Guro to finish her gifts to her cousins. We even ate dinner at a restaurant, and I am exhausted…lol Maybe I need to get one of those lamps to use 30 mins per day… I really think it’s the darkness getting to me :-O Big big hugs to you my Dear!! xoxoxo
Another gorgeous set from Iris and its so nice to see the beautiful back of the vintage lady ornament! Great work Iris. Margie x
Hear, hear my Dear! All the ornaments turned out so beautiful, but I’m totally in love with the sets I received from Iris 😀 (I probably would be in all the sets, had they been for me…lol, but it’s something about seeing it in real life and “owning it” if you know what I mean!) She did a wonderful job, that’s for sure 😀 xoxoxo
you have inspired me again. I have not been able to decorate my family room tree and with all the baking I just could not do it. However, I have printed several angels and other goodies and am now punching holes and hanging them on my poor neglected tree. Have a beautiful, happy Christmas.
Awww! I am so happy you were inspired, do send me some pictures of how your tree turned out 😀 I hope you are having a magical and wonderful Christmastide, and wish you all the best for the New Year!! xoxoxo
