Dear Friends! I hope you have all enjoyed the first few days of Christmas with your loved ones! 🙂
I have celebrated Christmas with my girls, my sister and her 3 children and our two brothers. That is all the family I have in this world, and I could not feel more happy that we got to celebrate it back home on the farm where we grew up, and my sister is now again living. We did not know last year if we were ever again going to come home, and the year 2014 has been a long, long struggle trying to reach that goal. Needless to say, it is a very special and magical Christmas for all of us!
I have decided to share a review of all the ornaments created for the 2014 WoW Christmas Ornament Swap! Both because they all deserve the attention, and because they represent so much talent, so much inspiration, and because I want to express how grateful I am to each and everyone who participated:

Thank you everyone who participated for sharing your talent with me and each other, and allowing me to share your beautiful work here on WoW! Thank you for every new technique you have brought our attention to! Thank you for overcoming the hardships of alien equipment, sickness and malfunctioning internet and email! We made it, and together we made a stunning statement piece of mixed media art 😀 51 gorgeous ornaments were presented in this series, and 48 of them traveled to new homes! I am so proud of what we accomplished together and it added another layer of magic to my Christmas 😀 Thank you Irene! Thank you Margie! Thank you Sil! Thank you Dianne! Thank you Dobie! Thank you Deb! Thank you Iris!
Did you miss out on the planning of this swap? This is what my swappers signed up for back in September:
- Each swap is for a set of 3 ornaments. Either 1 tart tin swap or 1 cookie cutter swap, swapped with one swap buddy
- Deadline November 15th to craft your ornaments, take pictures and get the packages ready
- Send pictures to me of the finished ornaments
- Alert me when the swapped ornaments arrive at their new home

Everyone of the ornaments are beautiful-love them all-thanks so much for sharing
Thank you Dear! xoxoxo
And thank you Gunnvor for organising it, inspiring us and sharing all the wonderful creations produced. Well done to you and everyone who took part. Hopefully, there’ll be another swap next year with even more participants – it was such fun. Margie x
I also hope to be able to arrange more swaps, it was very fun indeed, and so educational! xoxoxo
A huge thank you to YOU Gunnvor for organizing this fun, creative, and challenging ornament swap! I wonder what you have in store for us next year…….
Haha, so do I! I never know what silly mischief I might come up with, I leave that to the Wings of Whimsy 😀 xoxoxo
I want to thank you so much for allowing me to join your swap. I am thankful for your continued generosity of the wonderful images you send us weekly. I love them. I am wishing you and your family a wonderful new year. God bless you.
We could not have done it without you Sweetie! I so, so love your ornies, and have been wondering how you achieved both the lined effect, and the vintage effect on the backs? If you have time, please go back to the original post, and write us a little “how to”…lol I have napkins, I have paint, but I’m sure there’s a couple tricks involved, and I’m dying to find out…:-D I wish you a creative and fun New Year too!! xoxoxo
