I’m in the process of revamping my deck, and one of my ideas is creating some outdoor pictures:
I used some old plastic frames I had lying around, I’m sure you can find similar frames at thrift stores. I painted them white with my home made chalk paint, and rubbed some of the paint off with a moist cloth:
I printed my altered Dingee Conard Pictures, cut them out and ran them trough my laminator, so they can take the moist air outside better.
Here is my 3xgreat aunt Ingeborg in her new rosy frame:
And the frame for you to use with your own pictures, vintage or new:
Just the pretty ornate frame:
And finally a preview of the original Dingee Conard seed catalog page I used to create this picture:

WAUW this looks fabulous sweetie, really awesome and it all looks so cosy all toherther on your patio here.
I totally love the frames, you made here, they looks really gorgeous and just fit sooo perfect with all the rest you´ve made here, and all together it´s all just so perfect and beautiful. You´ve done an outstanding job here with all this, and everything is just perfect.
Have a wonderful week ahead here now. See you soon.
Thank you Darling! I’m so happy my deck-project is again moving forward, we have had so much rain, I had to resort to painting some of the smaller items inside…:-O Even working in the garage, although covered, was too cold :-O But last week the girls started their summmer vacation, and they wanted to make a little money for the trip, so they were both working on the old garden furniture while I was at work, and believe me, it really helped move us forward 😀 I still have two more chairs and a big pillow box to finish, but I’m optimistic now that we will get it done before we leave 😀 I hope to be able to show the completed deck-project before we leave…lol
This weekend we even painted the garden fence, which looked absolutely disguisting, I almost considered it beyond salvation…:-O Now it looks great, almost like new 😀 AND we cleaned out the cabin up at the mountain farm, so it is now ready for summer as well. Although I don’t know if I’ll be able to spend much time up there this year…hehehe Only three weeks left until our trip, we are sooo, so looking forward to it 😀 😀 😀 xoxoxo
Can´t wait to see the finished project, as I´m sure, it´ll look so awesome, and it´s always so great to get much of this done, as we feel soo good afterwards.
We´ve just had sooo much rain here too, but now it thans god looks like the summer is really comming here this week, so we´re all crossing everything here, so you´ll have a really great weather for the trip down too, and also everything is a lot more funand nice, when the weather is good, instead of a lot of rain, so we´re crossing everything here, that it´ll last now.
Yes it is getting closer and we´re just as exited here to see you comming, and the girls are planning like crazy too, so if we should reach all they´ve been talking about, we would probably need at least 6 months ha ha ha.
