My great grandmother’s brother Ivar (read more about him HERE) was a renowned fiddler in our hometown of Hornindal before he emigrated to America, already at the age of 19! One of the mysteries I plan to research further is how he lived, and if he continued to play his fiddle when he eventually settled down in Canada.
Until then, I gave him a prominent spot on my deck, laminated and placed in a chalk painted plastic frame:
The serving tray was chalk painted and distressed by me last fall, and the shells were collected by my girls a couple of weeks ago, for us to use for fun crafting later in the summer 🙂
I set up a drink refill station, don’t you want to have a sip and sit on my deck with me?
I shared the imagery with Ivar in the pretty rose frame before too, you can find it HERE!
I also made a whole stack of these tart tin candles, I’m hoping to share that project in a later post 😉
