The back cover of the same 1899 Henderson’s Seed Catalog that I used yesterday, is equally fabulous, and simply had to become a garden picture:
The genuine vintage harvest image is from the amazing Petrine Wiik Collection

To create the images for using outside, I used some old plastic frames I had lying around, I’m sure you can find similar frames at thrift stores. I painted them white with my home made chalk paint, and rubbed some of the paint off with a moist cloth:
I printed my altered Henderson’s Pictures, cut them out and ran them trough my laminator, so they can take the moist air outside better.
Here is the Belle Epoque Harvest Workers in their new colorful frame
And the frame for you to use with your own pictures, vintage or new:
And finally a preview of the original Henderson’s seed catalog back cover, that I used to create this picture:

This is so pretty! Thank you. I used it with a picture of my mom as a young girl picking hops. I will put it on my blog if you care to take a peek.
Hello Loretta 🙂 I hopped on to see, and I think your picture indeed fit well with this frame 🙂 Thank you for using my stuff!! I took a look on the picture of your mom’s Birthday card, and I wonder if the stacked letters is another of my PNG’s you have used? I love it too 😀 xoxoxo
I really really love these frames, that you´ve made, they´re sooo gorgeous and beautiful decorated. And also this last one here from Henderson is really awesome and would look great with some old pictures too.
Thanks soooo much for always sharing all your great work with all of us here every time, you are such a generous lady always. Have a wonderful day sweet friend.
Thank you Dear! To tell you the truth, I could easily make 100 different ones with Seed Catalogs, there are so, so many beautiful pages! I do try to limit myself though, and pick only my outmost favorites…lol And of course to vary my crafts some, since I’m always working on many different ideas and projects 😛 xoxoxo
