Following my tradition since this blog was new, I’m presenting a new Vintage Style Calendar for the coming year:
The Calendar Frame is from a 1924 French Almanac. The numerals I used to write 2016 are from the 1881 New Spencerian Compendium. Let me know if you are interested in the complete set, and I will consider extracting all of them as png-files 🙂
INSTRUCTIONS:
Print all the pages on cardstock, I use Canon Matte photopaper (170g). Then attach the calendar frame sheet to thin cardboard, I save all my cereal boxes for this. Cut out the calendar opening in the frame. Then glue a second piece of cardstock to the back of the calendar, creating a pocket where you can insert the monthly pages, and change from month to month. Use glue stick or hot glue for this, leaving the top side open. This piece of cardstock can be slightly smaller than the frame, but large enough to cover the opening well. I also glue a soda can tab with hot glue for a quick hanger to the back of the calendar 🙂

Please don´t exxcuse, I know only too well how it is, as we´ve had sooo much bad health and soo much going on here ourself, so I haven´t even got any christmascards made or sent out. I only managed to make one, which my daughter in law grabbed right away as I wouldn´t know, who to give it among soo many anyway she said LOL. So let´s just hope, that this new year is a great start to a much better year, where we can all get a great start from scrratch and hopefully without anymore bad health to anyone here LOL.
