Noveau Larousse Illustré – Complément – French Dictionary Pages

The 1906 edition of the Noveau Larousse Illustré features a separate Complément chapter, expectedly with updates and additions since the 1898 edition. So here is a few elements from that chapter:

Wings of Whimsy: Noveau Larousse Illustré - Complement #vintage #french #dictionary #ornament

The full pages are sized to print on A3 paper, so big enough to frame and hang as instant art, use as wrapping paper, or just about anything you creative peeps can think of 😀

From the Complement page I have also extracted the beautiful ornamental label, and made two versions as PNG-files (transparent background):

Wings of Whimsy: Noveau Larousse Illustré - Complement #vintage #french #dictionary #ornamentWings of Whimsy: Noveau Larousse Illustré - Complement #vintage #french #dictionary #ornament

And here is a lovely Swan ornament from the last page of the Complemént chapter:

If you have been following this series, you know that I have collected the letters of the ornamental French serif alphabet onto sheets:

Wings of Whimsy: Noveau Larousse Illustré - A-H #vintage #french #dictionary #alphabet #capital #initial

Wings of Whimsy: Noveau Larousse Illustré - I-Q #vintage #french #dictionary #alphabet #capital #initialWings of Whimsy: Noveau Larousse Illustré - R-Z #vintage #french #dictionary #alphabet #capital #initial

The files are free for your personal use and enjoyment. Go to the download folder below to grab your high quality copies🙂

  1. Thank you so much for these pages and how you made separate monograms off of the pages. I am going to have so much fun making stationary sets with these, using the full page for envelopes. I have pinned them all in Pinterest under “Books part 3” and they have been very popular. Blessings to You and Yours, Susie in Port Huron, Michigan, USA.

    1. Awww, thank you Susie for the lovely comment 🙂 I have noticed there was less traffic on these than normal, so I was not sure if they were actually interesting for anyone else than me…lol I love the idea of using these for stationary! Please send me pictures of your finished sets 🙂 xoxoxo
