I’m sharing a truly unique treat with you tonight, a very rare Fairbanks Fairy Soap 1899 Calendar with die cut oval openings for pictures:
I put photos of my highly beloved Grandma Oddny in each of the openings. In the middle she is around 1 year old (spring 1910), the right photo is her around 20 years old (ca 1929), and in the left photo she is around 38 years old (ca 1947).
In case you are wondering: 1899 is another of the years with the same calendar as 2017, so this calendar can be printed and put to use without alterations. The original is one large trifold calendar (approx. 48,5 x 22,5cm), intended to stand on it’s own on a dresser or a mantle:
I scanned it in high resolution, allowing you to print the individual pages as large as A3 if you wish:
To be healthy, happy and wise
Hark to what the fairies advise:
For bath or toilet, day or night,
Use FAIRY-SOAP – pure, floating, white.
Make this calendar for yourself, or why not make the calendar as a gift? I also think this would be great used in a scrapbook, with a picture of someone dear having a birthday in the said months. Or you can cover up the months with other ephemera/embellishments, and use the pages in any scrapbook or vintage style album! I can totally imagine these gorgeous fairies would look awesome in a baby album, or framed in a nursery as well 😀
These files are free for your personal use and enjoyment. Go to the download folder below to grab your high quality copy 🙂
For some reason the previews of the PNG files (transparent background) show with less brilliant colors in the download folder and on Pinterest, but don’t worry, when you download the PNG files, the colors will look the same as they do here; the same as the on the JPG files in the download folder 🙂
