Large Bunnies Tags

My Easter Bunny Tags are among my most popular posts, so today I’m sharing another set:

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Print the sheet onto matte photo paper (I use 170g paper) or cardstock
  2. Glue the sheet to thin cardboard, I use a cereal box and spray glue, let dry.
  3. Cut out the individual tags.
  4. (Optional: ink the edges of each tag for a more vintage look)
  5. Punch holes and tie the tags with a piece of ribbon, twine or lace.
  6. TADAH: Cute Victorian Easter Tags 🙂

Frear’s Troy Bazaar 1882

Here is a set of Frear’s Troy Bazaar 1882 Children, advertising the latest Spring Fashions:

I have sized these to print individually on A4-pages, so they are quite large! 😀 Thus suitable for creating wall hangings for Spring 😀

Print, and glue with a glue stick or spray glue onto thin cardboard (cereal box), ink the edges with matching gold ink, and attach ribbon for hanging 🙂

Here is another Spring Wall Hanging I made two years ago as a sample:

Norwegian Sunday: Bridal Crowns – Part IV, Art

One of the most famous Norwegian painters, Adolph Tidemand, incorporated traditional Bridal Crowns in many pieces of his art:

Wings of Whimsy: Tidemand & Gude - Brudeferd i Hardanger (The Bridal Procession in Hardanger)

Tidemand & Gude – Detail of Brudeferd i Hardanger 1848 (Bridal Procession on the Hardangerfjord)

Adolph Tidemand became and has remained, one of the prominent painters representing Norwegian Romantic Nationanlism. The movement peaked around 1840-1860, but has had tremendous impact on the Norwegian identity as we know it today!

All the images are clickable, if you would like to study the Bridal Crown Art more closely, some of these are supersized (!) 😀
