Map Cottages – No 3: British Empire (1886)

The third little Map Cottage, is wrapped in the British Empire (1886):

I have a few of these map cottages currently displayed on a shelf in my office, and most every person that comes by my office is curious about them 🙂 They are very easy to make with a hot glue gun:

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Print on cardstock (I use Canon Matte Photo paper (160g)
  • Cut out the cottage (all the solid lines)
  • Score on the dotted lines
  • Fold on the dotted lines
  • Glue the bottom sides of the roof
  • Glue the side walls together
  • Glue the top of the roof together
  • Tuck in the floor.
  • I usually don’t glue the floor, meaning I can insert a small gift, or a LED tea light if I wish 🙂

Map Cottages – No 1: Venedig (1892)

I’m utterly fascinated with little paper houses, and I have adorned a series of Cottages with vintage maps. The first one is Venedig (1892):

Cherub Egg Tags

With 4 sets of Cherub Eggs, I had just enough to fill an A4-page with 8 mini eggs, adorable little Cherub Egg Tags:

Wings of Whimsy: Cherub Egg Tags #vintage #ephemera #freebie #printable #easter #cherubs #eggs Wings of Whimsy: Cherub Egg Tags #vintage #ephemera #freebie #printable #easter #cherubs #eggsI printed mine on Canon Matte Photo paper (160g) and attached the sheet to thin cardboard (ceral box) with spray glue:

I also printed a spring sheet music page on regular (80g) printer paper, and attached to the back side, before I started cutting these out.

I inked the edges with my Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink, and decided these were totally cute without further embellishments! You can of course add glitter, fancy trim or whatever you please to yours 😀

Finally, my 8 Cherub Egg Tags were hung as ornaments on my Easter Mobile (a lamp shade frame covered with torn strips of the fabric, using a glue gun):

You can of course just print these and use them as Easter tags, around the house or with little Easter gifts 🙂

I had originally planned to use the cute musical Cherubs in Eggs for regular tags, so I’m throwing in those as well:
